Get Involved

Through local projects, educational events and campaigns in 150 countries, Slow Food volunteers are promoting environmentally friendly food production, teaching children how to grow and prepare their food, and working to make real food accessible to all. Here in Central Florida, you are contributing to the movement just by attending our events and growing your awareness. We’re thankful for anyone who joins us in celebrating food as a cornerstone of culture and community.  But if you’d like to do more, there are a number of ways to get involved.

Volunteers are always needed to assist at events, man tables/booths during outreach activities, recruit members, and help out in some hands-on community projects. To join our volunteers list, sign up for our mailing list and check the box for volunteers. Have an idea for ways our volunteers can help in the community? Email your ideas to
